Actually I have never explore Beijing on my own since I arrived here approximately five years ago. The city is so vast and complex that I have no idea where to begin. Currently I have a considerable amount of spare time, and my lease has also expired. This means I can choose stay in any hostel in any area of the city for a period of time, allowing me to dive into the ancient city.
My first priority is to prepare for the IELTS examination on 28th of this month. Simulanteously, I need to find a part-time job or take on side projects to earn enough income to cover my basic living expenses.

After spending a week in budget accomodations, whether at a hostel or rented room in a private residence, experienced unexpected fatigue and discrepancies between expectation and reality.

After switching hostels, the one I heared before many foreigners perferred. An Iranian guest only had USD and was unable to exchange if for RMB at most banks due to the complex procedures. Also people are not willing to do this exchange bacause of concerns about authenticity. With the front desk's help, they eventually found a bank that might be able to assist after making numerous calls.
On top of that, facilities here are in poor condition, and laundry service are outrageously expensive.
Traveling in China can be challenging for foreigners.

I took my first IELTS exam two days ago. As I am wirting this words, I haven't received my score yet. I hope it was my last attempt, even though I fell I didn't perform well.
Given that the APS interview schedule remains uncertain and could take considerable time, I booked a filght to Kunming yesterday. I had initially planned to go to Tianjing due to its proximity to Beijing, but accommodation prices are sky-high for me during the hoilday season.
Today marks my departure from Beijing, a city I've live for almost five years. I probably won't return here to live again.
