Shopping | Tokyo

After dragging on for nearly a month, simply record the itinerary in Tokyo

Preface#

At the end of last year, I got a visa to Japan, but I never had the chance to go. Recently, Li Zhi was holding a concert in Japan, but I didn't get a ticket. I don't know when the next time will be, so it's not bad to just go around. The first trip abroad was decided like this.

Beginning#

The immigration process was very smooth, just follow the instructions. It started raining lightly when I took the subway from the airport to the hotel where I stayed, but the hotel was right across from the subway, very convenient. Apart from the room being a bit small, there was nothing to complain about.

I left my luggage and found an izakaya nearby with a Google Map rating of 4 or above, and the experience was unexpectedly good. Although there was only a Japanese menu, I could probably order through translation, and the boss also understood some English. There was also a female waitress and two local customers. Although I didn't understand a word of Japanese they said, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very good.

The waitress made a tamagoyaki, and the boss said it was her first time cooking, and she shared it with the people in the restaurant at the time. Objectively speaking, it was still very delicious. A pleasant beginning ^_^

Shopping#

Because I couldn't attend the concert and after reading a lot of posts on Xiaohongshu before coming, my main purpose became shopping. Most of the shops in Tokyo open at 11 am, so there's no need to rush to the crowded stores early in the morning. However, I found out that I bought a lot of useless things after coming back.

Perhaps because I shuttle back and forth between Wudaokou and outside the Fifth Ring Road every day, the feeling Tokyo's streets gave me was like a villager coming to the city.

Food#

Japan is very friendly for dining alone, basically just randomly choosing a restaurant with a rating of 4 or above on Google Maps, and I didn't encounter any bad food.

Strolling#

Meiji Shrine gave me the feeling that there was less artificial intervention and grooming, and the weather in Tokyo in March was too comfortable, not too cold or too hot.

Tokyo Tower was okay whether you went up or not. The ticket to the highest level comes with a guide, and you have to stay for a while before coming down, not very free.

Asakusa Temple felt very much like a tourist attraction. I'm not very interested in religion or temple culture, but I still drew a fortune slip, and I secretly felt happy with the great result.

Tokyo National Museum can help you understand a lot about Japanese culture, and there are also art museums, Ueno Park, and so on in that area, which can fill a whole day.

Conclusion#

From the perspective of a tourist, the dining and shopping service experiences were very good, mostly warm and patient.

Looking forward to the next time
